Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure
Disney ‘s first ‘Frozen’ theatrical dining experience, bringing the world of Arendelle to life through an immersive live show – featuring favorite characters like Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf – and world-class cuisine steeped in Nordic influences.
Exclusive to the Disney Wish, families are invited to attend a royal engagement party for Queen Anna and Kristoff, picking up the story where Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen 2 left off. Elsa and Olaf will host the celebration with catering provided by their friend Oaken’s “Hearty Party Planning Service… and Sauna” and live entertainment by “local” musicians who specialize in Nordic renditions of familiar Frozen songs.
Throughout the meal, guests will enjoy live musical performances by these beloved characters and will even get the opportunity to join the festivities with fun table crafts, hilarious sing-alongs and a grand finale that’ll have everyone in the audience on their feet.
Designed in the style of a theater-in-the-round, this purpose-built entertainment venue will feature dining tables situated around a small center stage and all the theatrical bells and whistles needed to bring a story to life in 360-degree glory. Invisible fiber optics embedded in the ceiling will conjure Elsa’s icy magic, and panoramic windows will magically transform from real-time ocean views to the colorful dancing lights of the Aurora Borealis.
Disney Cruise Line is developing brand-new looks for Anna and Kristoff, plus an all-new way to encounter Olaf through true-to-scale, cutting-edge puppetry that can talk and interact with families as they dine, lending his signature humor and charm to the merriment.
The one-of-a-kind menu for Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure combines traditional flavors and ingredients from the Nordic region with modern, family-friendly fare. Guests will delight in this scrumptious smorgasbord of superior seafoods, rustic game dishes, and tasty nods to the Frozen story. And, last but not least, dessert! It wouldn’t be Queen Anna’s party without plenty of chocolate.
Worlds of Marvel – Avengers: Quantum Encounter
The first-ever Marvel Cinematic Food Adventure, where you’ll take an interactive role in an action-packed Avengers mission that unfolds around you.
“Avengers: Quantum Encounter” will follow Ant-Man and The Wasp as they embark on their first public speaking engagement on behalf of the Avengers. They are hosting a special presentation of the most powerful Super Hero technologies — such as Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s arc reactor and Ant-Man’s Pym Particles — giving the audience an up-close look at holographic models, field reports and iconic scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe displayed on the screens surrounding the room.
The highlight of this special event is a hands-on demonstration of the latest and greatest Pym Tech, the Quantum Core, which uses cutting-edge (and highly unstable) technology to shrink and grow targets at the push of a button. A few “misfires” will result in hilarious Ant-Man-style hijinks, but the real trouble begins when an unexpected villain shows up with a fearsome army in tow, eager to get their hands on this powerful quantum technology.
Ant-Man and The Wasp will need all the help they can get to save the day, calling on Captain America, Captain Marvel and the brave diners of the Disney Wish for back-up. (That means you!)
Every table at Worlds of Marvel will feature its own Quantum Core, “a brand-new device that can cause objects to shrink and grow remotely.” During dinner, you will assist Ant-Man and The Wasp as they attempt some small-scale trials, perhaps shrinking oversized luggage for easy stateroom storage. I wonder who overpacked… those super suits probably take up a lot of space!
When enough of the Quantum Cores are activated at the same time, the entire venue will become supercharged as energy pulses through the power channels in the walls and ceiling.
True to its name, Worlds of Marvel will take families on a flavorful tour of the real and fictional settings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The menu features dishes inspired by legendary locales like African Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia and the Avengers’ home base of New York City.
1923
Named for the year the Walt Disney Company was founded, it is an elegant celebration of the company’s legacy, paying homage to the golden age of animation and offering a tasteful tribute to its Californian heritage with dishes inspired by the state’s unique fusion of cultural flavors.
The two lavishly appointed dining rooms are aptly named for the men behind the magic of the original film studio – Walt and Roy Disney.
Adorning the walls and ornate glass cases around the restaurant are more than 1,000 drawings, props and other tools of the trade showcasing 16 Disney films that embody the ship’s themes of enchantment and wish fulfillment. Many of these stories also hold a significant role in the history and legacy of the company, such as:
“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” (1937), the world’s first feature-length animated film ever.
“Fantasia” (1940), a boundary-pushing project that introduced Fantasound (the precursor to stereophonic sound).
“Cinderella” (1950), which ushered in a new golden age of animated features.
“The Little Mermaid” (1989), a generation-defining classic that paved the way for “Beauty and the Beast” (1991), “The Lion King” (1994”) and other animated tales we know and love today.
At 1923, guests will enjoy sophisticated dishes designed with families in mind and inspired by the fusion of cultural flavors found throughout the Golden State. The diverse menu will mirror the region’s unique blend of Asian, European, and South American cuisines and will feature local ingredients like fresh produce, wild honey, and earthy pistachios. All paired, of course, with a superlative selection of world-famous Napa Valley wines.
Adult Dining
Aboard the Disney Wish, guests will savor gourmet meals and exceptional beverages at Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement and The Rose, an upscale suite of epicurean excellence exclusively for adults, inspired by the elegant icons of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Beauty and the Beast.
Adult-exclusive restaurants aboard Disney Cruise Line ships are elegant dining experiences. Guests are requested to dress in a manner consistent with the restaurant’s sophistication. Formal or semi-formal attire is recommended. Dress casual attire with a polished look is permitted (such as dress pants, jeans in good condition, collared shirts and blouses and lifestyle shoes). Clothing such as T-shirts, swimwear and sports attire is not permitted.
Palo Steakhouse
Palo Steakhouse is an evolution of the Palo restaurant that Disney cruisers know and love, now combining the relaxed sophistication of authentic Italian dining with the classic refinement of a modern steakhouse in a genteel setting inspired by Cogsworth, the tale’s majordomo-turned-enchanted-clock.
An elegant, welcoming environment with spectacular ocean views off the back of the ship. The venue has a warm, luxurious palette of rich woods and shining metals, along with artwork and details that evoke ornate clocks, pendulums, and gears. A private dining room will be available for more intimate gatherings of up to 12 guests.
The Palo Steakhouse menu offers a selection of exquisite Italian dishes and the world’s best steaks, from the most elite American prime cuts to melt-in-your-mouth Australian wagyu to succulent Japanese Kobe and Miyazaki beefs. The menu offers pairings with the finest Italian wines and bold craft beers. For dessert, the signature Palo chocolate soufflé is prepared fresh-to-order and served piping hot with luscious vanilla bean and chocolate sauces.
Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement
Enchanté offers the most luxurious dining experience onboard the Disney Wish. Featuring a gourmet menu crafted by three-Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement — of L’Assiette Champenoise, near Reims, France — one of the culinary masterminds behind the French-inspired fine dining experience at Remy aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
This romantic and intimate venue evokes the dazzling candlelight and lavish hospitality of the film’s candelabra maitre d’, Lumiere, with shimmering light fixtures and illuminations that give life to the two intimate dining areas and private 10-seat dining room. With an elegant infusion of soft blues and metallic embellishments, the enchanting atmosphere will be completed by stunning ocean views.
The menu will offer superior products and seasonal ingredients sourced from around the world to create an exceptional ensemble of international dishes, masterfully developed with the passion, philosophy, and expertise of Chef Lallement. From the moment they enter the glittering champagne room, guests will be swept up in a sumptuous journey marked by consummate cuisine, superlative wines and first-class service.
Quick-Service Dining
Marceline Market
Marceline Market is a unique food hall inspired by Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri, and it features a wide variety of dining options for guests to enjoy.
A stylish food hall aboard the Disney Wish where guests can enjoy casual, walk-up dining throughout the day — each of the 10 food stalls is themed to a beloved Disney animated story, from classics such as “Alice in Wonderland” (1951) to more recent films like “Zootopia” (2016). This fun design twist presents favorite characters as honorary “shopkeepers,” offering a wide-ranging variety of freshly prepared cuisines for the whole family to enjoy, including American classics, international specialties, comfort foods, seafood, soups and salads, vegetarian and plant-based fare, baked goods, and desserts.
Menu options include classic favorites and international specialties, including plant-based offerings.
Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods
Right in the middle of the fun of the upper decks is Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, the perfect place for your guests to grab a quick bite for lunch, dinner, or a snack any time in between.
Inspired by Mickey Mouse animated shorts, stalls include Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream, and Donald’s Cantina.
Paid Dining Experiences
Olaf’s Royal Picnic
For the first time ever, guests can join their favorite “Frozen” friends for a summertime picnic in Arendelle during a premium entertainment experience specially designed for families with children ages 3 to 12. At Olaf’s Royal Picnic, guests will interact with Olaf, Anna, Elsa and Kristoff like never before and delight in live musical performances of beloved songs like “Let It Go,” “Fixer Upper” and “In Summer.”
Under the expert direction of Baroness Dagmar Birgir — a lively lady-in-waiting to Queen Anna — castle staff will serve up delicious summer treats and picnic fare for the whole family to enjoy. The hall will be decked out in summer splendor just for the occasion, with a canopy of colorful flowers among the festive decor. Children will receive an assortment of gifts and keepsakes, including a reversible troll plush, themed picnic blanket and custom Nordic-style mandolin, which they’ll need for a special “Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People” strum-and-sing-along with Kristoff. What’s more, from royal proclamations to unexpected visitors, the show will be jam-packed with surprises worth melting for.
Guests who have booked a Disney Wish cruise may reserve Olaf’s Royal Picnic before their sailing for an additional fee.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets
The shop will offer nearly 40 flavors of gelato and ice cream, with daily handcrafted gelato specials in decadent combinations like peanut butter pretzel and white chocolate raspberry. Whipped cream, fruit compotes and sauces will be freshly made in-house to complement a wide selection of tasty toppings.
Signature treats inspired by the film will include colorful cupcakes that evoke the five emotions — Joy (lemon), Sadness (blueberry), Disgust (pistachio), Anger (red velvet) and Fear (bubble gum) — and chocolate Memory Orbs filled with sweet candy remembrances. Specialty macarons and cake pops will join the assortment of handcrafted truffles, designer cookies, indulgent brownies and vibrant candy offerings.
Entertainment on the Disney Wish
Disney specializes in family entertainment, so it should come as no surprise that the Disney Wish will amp up the opportunities for shows and experiences. The combination of innovative new venue concepts and evolutionary storytelling techniques will set the stage for original productions, guest-favorite shows and brand-new experiences for the entire family to enjoy.
Among the highlights: Three Broadway-style shows, including Aladdin, a Musical Journey (and two new productions); two movie theaters showing first-run films; and the Grand Hall stage in the atrium. Of course, no Disney vacation is complete without fireworks so the Disney Wish will have fireworks at sea.
There are also two family entertainment concepts that will eventually come to life: Luna, which will transform into an adult entertainment area at night, and the superhero-themed Hero Zone, where families can participate in an obstacle course and competitions.
Grand Hall
The fairytale castle-inspired Grand Hall will evolve from a gathering space into an enchanting theater through the magic of built-in special effects and the first-ever atrium stage on a Disney ship.
The Disney Wish Fairytale castle-inspired Grand Hall
The Grand Hall will evolve throughout your sailing from a gathering space to an enchanting theater
A royal greeting will await families as they enter the glittering Grand Hall for the first time. Every child will receive their very own wishing wand upon embarkation, which they will use to make the “First Wish” of their vacation during a special boarding celebration.
During the sailing, families can attend a royal gathering of magnificent proportions as Disney Princesses descend into the Grand Hall to meet and greet with guests.
The Grand Hall stage will conceal a host of Disney friends during “Who’s Behind the Curtain?”, a playful game show where guests answer questions to reveal the identity of hidden characters.
On the final night of every sailing, cruisers will return to the Grand Hall and raise their wands with Fairy Godmother to ignite a spectacular farewell show featuring favorite characters, special effects and lively performances.
Luna
If the Grand Hall is the castle of the Disney Wish, Luna is the town square: an event gathering place that evokes the warmth and enchantment of classic Disney stories. This brand-new entertainment hub will transition from a daytime setting for family fun into an elegant evening venue for adult-exclusive entertainment, offering a variety of live shows and interactive programming throughout the day and night.
The celestial design is inspired by the Disney and Pixar short La Luna, this venue will be outfitted with a two-story LED screen wall, stylish stage, full-service bar, and spacious seating. The lower level will buzz with community and life in the energetic atmosphere. For a more intimate setting, the balcony is suitable for enjoying the festivities in small groups, with secluded seating in semi-private booths.
“Villains Game Night” is a witty game show where guests will attempt to answer Disney trivia questions amid the jeers and sneers of nefarious Disney foes, including Cruella de Vil, Gaston, Hades, Maleficent and more, who will join on screen.
“Disney Songbook” will put guests in the spotlight as they belt out Disney songs and showcase their star talent for a live camera crew, who will project each performance onto the big screen.
During the live grand finale event for Disney Uncharted Adventure, an all-new interactive experience that uses guests’ mobile devices to unlock hidden adventures aboard the ship, families will team up with other cruisers to battle an infamous Disney villain.
Hero Zone
A completely new category of active family play for the Disney Cruise Line fleet, Hero Zone is a futuristic sports arena where physical activity blends with imagination, alternating between an elaborate family obstacle course and a free-play sports hub.
Families can test their strength, speed and stamina during the Incredi-Games, a high-energy game show featuring an elaborate obstacle course of over-the-top physical challenges, each inspired by the dynamic characters of Pixar’s “The Incredibles.”
Now with more fanfare than ever before, the guest-favorite Disney Cruise Line experience Jack-Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash offers terrific tots the chance to compete for the coveted title of Diaper Dash Champion as they speed-crawl across a 20-foot track amid the cheers (and chuckles) of family, friends and adoring fans.
Balcony viewing space is available for other guests to watch, cheer and admire the fearless feats performed during the epic games.
Walt Disney Theatre
On the Disney Wish, the design of the Walt Disney Theatre will evoke an enchanted forest, imbuing the atmosphere with a sense of magic inspired by scenes from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ legendary film Fantasia.
The unparalleled roster of original Broadway-style stage shows developed exclusively for the Disney Cruise Line fleet by world-class creative teams is one of the items that set the fleet apart from the competition. The elegant 1,274-seat show palace spans three decks and offers orchestra and balcony seating.
The theater will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including the most robust projection mapping capabilities of any Disney ship and a Dolby Atmos 3D audio system — a first for the cruise industry — to create a transformative theatrical experience rivaling anything on land or at sea.
Disney Seas the Adventure
After your first day spent exploring the ship, guests will head to the beautiful Walt Disney Theatre to see an original musical spectacular called “Disney Seas the Adventure.” The show will begin with Captain Minnie Mouse handing over the helm to her dear friend Goofy, leaving him a little unsure about the responsibility. With the help of some familiar friends, he’ll embark on a musical voyage into favorite Disney and Pixar stories on a journey to discover his own inner captain.
With an impressive roster of beloved characters, a full line-up of renowned Disney songs and a first-of-its-kind finale, this show is sure to be a sensational way to kick off a Disney Wish vacation!
Early in his adventure, Goofy will learn the power of hard work to make a dream come true when he meets Tiana during a lively performance of “Almost There” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog.”
The show’s grand finale will feature a cavalcade of characters joining Captain Minnie and Goofy on stage. But rather than bidding the audience farewell, these favorite Disney friends will lead guests out of the theater and into the Grand Hall for an unforgettable sendoff experience unlike anything we’ve done before.
And that’s just a small taste of the magic in store during this one-of-a-kind theatrical adventure! Other musical numbers include a high-energy production of “Go with the Flow” from the “Finding Nemo – The Musical” show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; a powerful medley of “Let it Go,” “How Far I’ll Go” and “Touch the Sky” performed by Disney heroines Elsa, Moana and Merida; and a bold rendition of “Go the Distance” with Hercules and a host of heroes from a variety of Disney films.
Disney The Little Mermaid
The creative minds at Disney Cruise Line have joined forces with a team of top Broadway talent to develop an all-new stage adaptation of “The Little Mermaid” exclusively for the Disney Wish. In this modern-day retelling, audiences will rediscover the iconic scenes, acclaimed music and beloved characters of the film, as a cast of contemporary storytellers put their own spin on the timeless tale.
“Disney The Little Mermaid” will feature innovative theatrical design, dazzling special effects, artistic choreography, and a reimagined script and score that will surprise and delight guests of all ages. Here’s a closer look at three of the most wow-worthy scenes:
“Under the Sea” will be the show’s biggest production number, complete with incredible vocals, show-stopping choreography and plenty of special effects. Here, the show’s cutting-edge puppetry will be on greatest display, as countless sea creatures and fantastical characters like Sebastian and Flounder gather on stage to sing, dance and celebrate.
Throughout the show, playful scenic designs and state-of-the-art video projections will transform the Walt Disney Theatre into a 360-degree undersea environment. During “Kiss the Girl,” Sebastian will lead a chorus of sea life in a refreshed rendition of the melody as the audience is visually transported into the scene. In a new twist exclusive to our show, even though Ariel doesn’t have a voice at this point in the story, her inner voice will play an important and meaningful role in the song.
The show’s spin on “Poor Unfortunate Souls” will be a more soulful take of the classic tune, filled with all of Ursula’s confidence and glamour. During this number, her power will manifest in a jaw-dropping moment as she truly becomes larger than life.
Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular
As part of its line-up of theatrical productions, the Disney Wish will feature a reimagined adaptation of Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular, a guest-favorite show from across the fleet. This fast-paced musical comedy is based on the classic Disney Animation tale of “street rat” Aladdin meeting the wise-cracking Genie, battling the evil Jafar, and falling in love with Princess Jasmine.
Iconic scenes and songs from the movie will be re-created on stage, including a lively, Las Vegas-style rendition of Friend Like Me and a breathtaking performance of A Whole New World atop a flying magic carpet. Grammy Award-winning composer Alan Menken created an original song for Disney Cruise Line entitled To Be Free, a solo performance for Jasmine.
Movie Theatres
The Disney Wish will elevate the onboard cinematic experience with two intimate screening rooms steeped in Disney storytelling. These boutique cinemas will be the first in the cruise industry to offer Dolby Atmos 3D audio technology for the most immersive movie-going experience on the high seas.
At 84 and 86 seats respectively, the Wonderland and Never Land cinemas offer guests more options than ever before to watch classic and first-run films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and more.
Wonderland Cinema, inspired by the fantastical world of Alice in Wonderland, incorporates otherworldly creatures and distinctive characters who inhabit the ever-curiouser Tulgey Wood. The woodland motif continues into the ceiling to create the feeling that guests are peering up through the enchanted tree canopy above.
Never Land Cinema, inspired by Peter Pan’s flight from London to Never Land, guests are swept into their own flight of fantasy, past the second star to the right and straight into the magical world of movies. As guests revisit iconic scenes such as Skull Rock and Mermaid Lagoon, the venue’s night-sky color palette will light up with the flutter of Tinker Bell’s wings.
Upper Deck
The family pool district of the Disney Wish will also double as an entertainment venue. With a poolside stage and Funnel Vision a jumbo LED screen, guests will enjoy a variety of entertainment ranging from movies and live sporting events to brand-new deck parties and nighttime fireworks spectaculars developed exclusively for this ship.
Disney Unchartered Adventure
With a Disney Wish reservation, Guests will be able to unlock Disney Uncharted Adventure on the Play Disney Parks app, which transforms Guests’ mobile device into an enchanted spyglass – a tool that allows them to set sail for adventure, solve puzzles, conquer quests and ultimately save the day.
Before the ship sets sail, Captain Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse will help Guests prepare for the journey ahead by highlighting the important role of the night sky in seafaring — particularly the ever-shining wishing star that lights the way.
Once on board
Guests will use their spyglass to reveal never-before-seen views of the stars above, where enchanted constellations take shape as recognizable icons from Disney and Pixar stories. When the wishing star suddenly bursts and shatters, they’ll watch as its pieces are scattered across the sky, each landing in a far-off realm. Captain Minnie will need Guests’ help to navigate the ship to these uncharted worlds to find the missing pieces of the wishing star!
Guests will choose where to go next, charting a course toward adventurous locales such as Motunui, New Orleans, Never Land, Sydney and more. Each quest will take Guests on an expansive journey throughout the Disney Wish as they are prompted to seek artwork, signs and props that magically transform to bring the characters and settings of these story worlds to life all around them.
Along the way, Guests will join the heroic characters who inhabit each destination on a mission to find the star fragment that landed there. Highlights include:
teaming up with Moana to navigate their canoes beyond the reef;
helping Tiana cook up the perfect pot of her father’s favorite gumbo;
summoning Tinker Bell to give the Disney Wish an extra dash of pixie dust; and
diving into the East Australian Current (EAC) with Nemo and friends.
The adventure will culminate in a grand finale hosted in one of the ship’s premier entertainment venues. During this live interactive experience, Guests will gather with other players to battle an infamous Disney villain (who’s been pulling the strings all along) and finally restore the wishing star to its rightful place in the sky.
Disney Uncharted Adventure is being developed with flexibility, replayability and customization in mind, so Guests can be in charge of your own adventure! They’ll choose when and how to play. If they don’t complete every quest, Guests can still enjoy the finale event. If they play again and again, they may discover new surprises and rewards each time. Guests can play on their own or with family and friends — the experience works with up to six devices at once, but Guests can also team up on only one or two devices at a time.
Kids Clubs on the Disney Wish
Great programming for kids is a must from Disney Cruise Line — and parents won’t be disappointed.
Aboard the Disney Wish, kids of all ages will find a ship filled with fun – from an immersive wonderland of heroes, princesses, and storytellers, to a whimsical nursery for babies and toddlers, to seriously cool hangouts for tweens and teens.
It’s A Small World Nursery (for children ages 6 months to 3 years)
Disney’s Oceaneer Club (for children ages 3 to 12)
Edge (for tweens ages 11 to 14)
Vibe (for teens ages 14 to 17)
It’s A Small World Nursery (for children ages 6 months to 3 years)
For the littlest cruisers babysitting services in a whimsical environment inspired by the beloved Disney attraction of the same name. Here, little ones will play games, make crafts, watch movies, read books and even spend time with special Disney friends under the expert care of Disney-trained counselors.
In the nursery, toddlers will take a playful trip around the world in the company of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters reimagined as “it’s a small world” dolls. Each section of the space is themed to different areas of the world, with characters grouped by their homelands.
In the play room, magical murals will feature interactive hand cranks that trigger delightful effects. Little ones will be able to spark a cascade of ice magic from Elsa’s hand, send Aladdin and Jasmine swaying on the magic carpet, uncover Flynn Rider as he clings to Rapunzel’s enchanted tresses, and more. A toy train will chug along the ceiling, filling the space with colorful lights, playful sounds, and kinetic energy.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club (for children ages 3 to 12)
Aboard the Disney Wish, this club will feature more themed spaces than ever, each filled with endless entertainment – from storytelling, arts and crafts, and dress-up to toys, games, and watching Disney movies. It will also offer more opportunities for kids to have fun with their favorite Disney friends during an exclusive line-up of interactive games and programs where characters don’t just stop by – they stay to play.
With the club located on deck 2, parents will be able to check-in their children in the Grand Hall on deck 3 and then send them “down the rabbit hole” on a twisting slide that lands directly and securely into the Oceaneer Lab. An alternate entrance called a door is available for parents.
Marvel Super Hero Academy
This high-tech Avengers headquarters is where young “recruits” will train to be the next generation of Super-Heroes with the help of their own real-life heroes, like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and the Wasp.
Children will begin by choosing a superhero suit from a selection of power sets based on Marvel heroes like Iron Man and Captain Marvel, and watching their choices become nanotech forms around mannequins in real-time. Once they are suited up it’s time for “Avengers: Mission Training”. The gesture-based technology game will put their new suits and skills to the test as they virtually battle bad guys.
Fairytale Hall
Fairytale Hall is a royal trio of activity rooms where kids will join some of their favorite Disney Princesses and Frozen Queens as they let their creativity shine at Rapunzel’s Art Studio, read and act out stories at Belle’s Library, and test newfound icy powers at Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus.
Inspired by her love of expression, Rapunzel’s Art Studio will be a creative escape where kids will have the best day ever making their own arts and crafts projects, like floating lanterns and paintings.
Belle’s Library will be a cozy corner for reading and acting out stories with the help of Disney characters. An enchanted painting above the fireplace will magically transform to bring the tales to life.
Anna and Elsa are never far from snow, even in their summer cabin. Here, kids will unlock icy powers during “Frozen Fun,” a series of gesture-based games hosted by Olaf, which include snowball fights with friendly trolls and a hunt for mischievous Snowgies – the tiny, playful snowmen created by Elsa in the animated short Frozen Fever.
Walt Disney Imagineering Lab
Walt Disney Imagineering Lab is a first-of-its-kind opportunity for kids to discover the secrets of world-renowned Disney Imagineers — the creative masterminds behind Disney theme parks, resorts, and cruise ships — with hands-on activities and inventive experiments. Sorcerer Mickey, the ambassador of Walt Disney Imagineering, may even stop by to lend a wand to the newly minted magic makers.
One of the most exciting things Imagineers get to do is design roller coasters. At the Ride Studio, kids will create a coaster along the lines of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain or Matterhorn Bobsleds – and then climb into a capsule where they will virtually ride their imaginative masterpiece.
Edge (for tweens ages 11 to 14)
Have fun, make friends and play games in a bright, colorful hangout inspired by a chic New York City loft. A faux-grass picnic area and graphic art displays called “photo walls” will provide ample opportunities for tweens to capture cool, shareable vacation pics that will be the envy of their friends back home.
Located on deck 5, the exclusive entrance to Edge will be hidden behind a framed piece of art that reimagines world-famous paintings in a pop art-inspired compilation of Disney characters, including Minnie as the ‘Girl with the Pearl Earring’ and Donald as Salvador Dali.
Vibe (for teens ages 14 to 17)
Meet new friends, watch movies, play games and participate in entertaining activities created just for them. Inspired by a Parisian artists’ loft, this stylish space features classic architectural elements with an electric retro twist, with vibrant neon signs and funky pop art. Combine those with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean, and every angle in Vibe will offer a selfie-worthy backdrop for the trendiest teens on the high seas.
Pools, Waterslides, and Splash pads on the Disney Wish
Disney takes fun in the sun to the next level aboard Disney Wish with an all-new family water attraction and three themed districts that provide dedicated space for families, kids and adults.
Families will have more pools, more deck space, and more dining options than ever before in a spacious Mickey and Friends-themed space. In addition to AquaMouse, the area will feature six swimming pools – spaciously spread over the decks and surrounded by lounge chairs – and a new take on casual, fast food with a festive touch of characters.
AquaMouse – The First Disney Attraction at Sea
The first-ever Disney attraction at sea. Families will be immersed in The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse animated shorts. Complete with show scenes, lighting and special effects, and splashtacular surprises, this first-of-its-kind water ride will send guests on a fun family adventure through 760 feet of winding tubes suspended high above the upper decks.
As the story goes, Mickey and Minnie are starting their very own seaside excursion company — aptly named Port Misadventures — onboard the Disney Wish, and adventuresome cruisers will join them on an undersea excursion to Mermaid Lagoon that will inevitably (and hilariously) go awry.
The journey will begin when guests board their two-seater ride vehicles and ascend into a magical tunnel that will teleport them into the cartoon world of Scuba Scramble, a new animated short that plays out through oversized virtual portholes. Along the way, they’ll encounter curious sea creatures, familiar Disney friends and more than 60 water effects that bring the subaquatic hijinks to life – all perfectly synched to an original musical score by Emmy-nominated composer Christopher Willis (The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse).
At the height of the show, guests will blast out of the tunnel and embark on a wild water ride around the upper decks. First, they’ll zip into the forward funnel through an enclosed tube surrounded by dazzling lighting effects, followed by a quick dash through a dark tunnel that opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the ocean.
They’ll then jet up and down a series of speed blasters as they are propelled toward the grand finale: a soaring loop over the edge of the ship, with clear views down to the deep blue sea. With that, they’ll splash down for a sendoff message from Mickey and Minnie – another successful tour in the books!
Poolside fun for the Whole Family
Families will have more pools, more deck space and more dining than ever before in an expansive pool district themed to Mickey and friends.
Located on decks 11 and 12 midship, this area will include six pools of various sizes and depths, spaciously staggered among tiered decks and surrounded by lounge chairs to provide families with space to stretch out and soak up the sunshine. Throughout the day, guests will enjoy a variety of poolside entertainment on Funnel Vision, a jumbo LED display that screens Disney movies, TV shows, live sporting events and more. For guests seeking a laid-back environment, another family pool will be available on deck 14 forward.
The Disney Wish will feature brand-new food and beverage offerings on the upper decks, including relaxed indoor dining and a fresh take on quick and casual fare with a festive character twist.
Toy Story Splash Zone
Toddlers and young children prepare to go to “swim”-finity and beyond in this Toy Story-themed neighborhood designed especially for them. This whimsical water paradise will feature a splash zone, wading pool, family-friendly waterslide, and smoothie bar.
Children will have a tub-full of fun in the Toy Story Splash Zone. A fantastical water playground where Woody, Buzz and friends will be adorably reimagined as larger-than-life rubber bath toys that move and spray water at kids’ whim. Inspired by the Disney and Pixar short “Partysaurus Rex,” this bathtub-themed splash zone will combine the Old West of Woody’s Roundup with the intergalactic world of Buzz Lightyear, featuring two toddler-sized slides and pop jets, geysers and bubblers galore.
To complete the splish-splashing antics, everyone in the family will enjoy a trip down Slide-a-saurus Rex – a double-looping waterslide that sends guests plunging “down the drain” with the rest of the toys when the metaphorical bathtub overflows.
Other features of this playful pool district will include Trixie’s Falls — a six-inch-deep wading pool with a small fountain and waterfall — and Wheezy’s Freezies, a smoothie bar serving up refreshing fruit blends for the perfect cool-down treat.
Adult Areas on the Disney Wish
Aboard a Disney Cruise, we are all kids at heart, but sometimes it’s nice to be treated like an adult. The Disney Wish is treating grown-ups to a number of kid-free zones on the ship. You will escape, relax, dine and play in more ways than ever with exclusive venues and entertainment tailored just for adults.
Beauty and the Beast Inspired Dining
Enjoy gourmet meals and exceptional beverages in an epicurean, upscale, adults-only suite, inspired by the film “Beauty and the Beast”.
The Rose
The Rose is a chic lounge at the entrance of Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Guests will enter The Rose through a corridor of beautiful, bespoke artwork commissioned exclusively for the Disney Wish. This grand entrance culminates in a gilded, golden rotunda, unfolding into a plush lounge with rich velvet seating, glorious views and magical illuminations.
The Rose will be an idyllic setting for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail, with an extensive selection of high-end wines and liquors. Guests will also indulge in a special menu of gourmet amuse-bouche and small plates from the Enchanté galley, curated by Chef Lallement.
Quiet Cove Pool District
Adults can soak up the sun at Quiet Cove, a peaceful hideaway dedicated to lounging, sipping a drink and relaxing. Set away from the hustle and bustle of family activities. This secluded, adults-only neighborhood will feature breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean from a luxurious infinity pool, poolside bar, and chic café.
The Cove Cafe is a chic poolside lounge that will offer gourmet coffees, teas, specialty drinks, and treats. The sophisticated yet casual spot will get a fresh new look that reflects the Oceania-inspired artistry of Disney’s Moana.
Senses Spa and Senses Fitness
For the first time aboard a Disney ship, Senses Spa will feature a dedicated outdoor relaxation space! This open-air oasis is a brand-new extension to our signature Rainforest experience, which has been reimagined for the Disney Wish to provide even more ways to relax and rejuvenate. The Rainforest will introduce the fleet’s first ice lounge, allowing Guests to combine thermal therapies, which promotes both physical wellness and tranquility. It will also include Guest-favorite elements like heated ergonomic loungers; sensory spa showers; and sauna, steam and dry chambers.
Senses Spa is a tranquil oasis offering indulgent spa and beauty treatments. The spa draws on the serenity of natural elements to promote pampering and relaxation. It will feature private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas for couples, and steam and aromatherapy rooms designed to help guests decompress, rejuvenate and recharge both body and mind. In addition to a menu of massage, facial and acupuncture therapies, guests will be able to select from a menu of specialized treatments that are customized to their needs, such as pain management and sleep improvement.
The reimagined Senses Fitness will offer state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facilities. The main room has exercise equipment, weightlifting machines, and free weights. There is also a dedicated cycle studio and an aerobics room. Complimentary, instructor-led fitness classes will be offered throughout the cruise.
Lounges & Bars
Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge
For the first time on a Disney ship, you’ll embark on a journey through the Star Wars galaxy. This upscale bar is designed like a luxurious spaceship. This immersive experience will be for adults-only every night. The interactive tasting experiences and signature drinks are inspired by destinations such as Batuu, Tatooine, and Mustafar.
The venue’s sleek interior design and metallic detailing are inspired by Dryden Vos’ ship in Solo: A Star Wars Story. While guests sip their galactic concoctions, this space-faring voyage will transport them to iconic locations from the eras of the Republic, Empire and First Order, employing hyperspace jumps to travel from planet to planet while sensational scenes unfold just beyond the ship’s panoramic viewport at each stop.
Ranging from serene vistas to action-packed encounters, the spectacles seen through this virtual “window” into the galaxy will feature famous space ships from the films and fan-favorite locales like Batuu, Tatooine, Mustafar, and Coruscant. The experience will be amplified by surround-sound audio and a holotube that presents holographic models of nearby ships.
Keg & Compass
Keg & Compass is a pub that celebrates the adventure and romance of the sea, designed in the rustic architectural style of a late 1800s Norwegian sailor’s map room and drawing inspiration from the rich folklore of Norse seafaring. Spanning the entire ceiling will be a grand, fantastical map in old maritime style that features, among other references to ocean lore, a homage to Disney characters and stories related to the sea. In addition to such characters as Ursula and Moana (appearing in the geographically accurate locations of their stories), the map will call out important locales related to The Walt Disney Company and, specifically, the design and construction of the Disney Wish.
This casual setting will be the perfect place to kick back and watch live sports, news and major broadcast events while sampling a specialized selection of beers, including three custom craft brews available exclusively aboard the Disney Wish, along with an assortment of liquors, wines and cocktails.
Nightingale’s
Nightingale’s is a refined piano bar inspired by Cinderella’s lyrical rendition of “Sing Sweet Nightingale” in the 1950 film, offering an extensive menu of fine wines, bubblies and hand-crafted cocktails. Classically modern with a soft metallic palette, the predominant design feature will be a glittering chandelier perched above the piano — a swirl of pearlescent bubbles and music notes displaying the titular song’s melody meticulously crafted out of shimmering rose gold. This vibrant lounge will be a thematic extension of the fairytale-inspired Grand Hall from which it stems, with large doors that allow the twinkling tunes to spill out across the atrium, inviting passersby to stop and stay for a while.
The Bayou
If Guests are looking for New Orleans-inspired good time aboard the Disney Wish, they’ll want to go down to The Bayou, an informal lounge themed to “The Princess and the Frog.” Flourishing with magnolia blossoms, lily pads and a canopy of twinkling fireflies overhead, this space will evoke the magical marsh where Tiana and Naveen take refuge in the film. This centrally located venue will offer creative cocktails, specialty coffees and signature beignets in a lively, social atmosphere complete with live entertainment and musical performances.
Hair Salon & Barber
Untangled Salon
At Untangled Salon, Guests can let their hair down (and have it styled any way they want) in a light and airy environment that is perfect for pampering. Inspired by Rapunzel, this chic, high-end salon will be adorned in shades of purple and gold, decorated with floating lantern light fixtures and outfitted with custom cut-metal privacy screens depicting Rapunzel’s own paintings. One side of the space will even gleam and glow with the golden light of a signature chandelier that evokes the iconic flower that gave her hair its magical qualities! In addition to haircuts and styling, the menu of services at Untangled Salon will include manicures, pedicures, teeth whitening and skin treatments.
Hook’s Barbery
Hook’s Barbery will be a unique twist on a traditional European men’s salon, offering cuts, shaves, and nail and skin care. Decked out in dark woods, handsome leather chairs and ornate golden mirrors, the space will brim with narrative details inspired by its namesake, Captain Hook: an inlaid wooden map of Never Land, a hidden pocket watch and — of course — a hook, to name a few. A trio of seemingly nondescript lanterns will occasionally come to life with lighting and audio effects to signify Tinker Bell jumping from one fixture to another.
Not only will Hook’s Barbery provide salon and barber services, but it will also boast the ultimate toast to a pirate’s life: a hidden bar! This (not-so-secret) treasure trove of pre-Prohibition bourbons, vintage whisky and port, aged rum and premium spirits will be a liquor enthusiast’s paradise, ideal for low-key hangouts, romantic date nights, hosted tastings and special evening events.
