Note: the specific 2023 offer this page originally covered has ended. The guidance below explains how Canada Resident offers work generally, so you know what to expect from the next one. For what is bookable right now, see my current Disney offers page.
What is a Canada Resident offer?
Walt Disney World runs discounts available only to residents of Canada. They usually appear as discounted multi-day theme park tickets, sometimes alongside a room offer. Because they are limited to Canadians, they are often better value than the general public promotions, and they are one of the first things I check for my clients.
What they typically include
A percentage saving on multi-day tickets, usually requiring a minimum number of days
A defined travel window, so the dates you can use the ticket are limited
Proof of Canadian residency at check-in
A booking deadline that often arrives well before the travel window closes
How to be ready for the next one
The families who get the most out of these offers are the ones who already know roughly when they want to travel. When a Canada Resident offer is released, the good resorts and dates go quickly, and the discount can often be applied to a booking you already hold.
That is genuinely one of the most useful things I do. I book your trip, then keep watching, and when a new promotion appears I check whether it can be applied to your existing reservation. You do not have to monitor anything yourself.
It also helps to understand Disney's booking windows, since package release dates, dining at 60 days and Lightning Lane at 7 days all run on separate clocks.
